Dynamic Different Images Horizontal RecyclerView in Vertical RecyclerView like Google Play Store

I have been following this tutorial:

http://android-pratap.blogspot.co.za/2015/12/horizontal-recyclerview-in-vertical.html

All the code is on the blog. What I am trying to implement differently is, instead of loading the same image over and over again, I want to pull 3 sets of images from 3 different ArrayLists. So far, I was using 1 ArrayList and instead of loading 18 images, the same 6 images are being loaded 3 times, so it's 3 duplicate sets of images, instead of unique images in all 3 rows.

This is what I would like (if possible from 3 arraylists):

img0 img1 img2 img3 img4 img5

img6 img7 img8 img9 img10 img11

img12 img13 img14 img15 img16 img17

This is what I am getting:

img0 img1 img2 img3 img4 img5

img0 img1 img2 img3 img4 img5

img0 img1 img2 img3 img4 img5

Here is the code I edited:

DownloadImageTask.java

import android.graphics.Bitmap;
import android.graphics.BitmapFactory;
import android.os.AsyncTask;
import android.widget.ImageView;

import java.io.InputStream;

public class DownloadImageTask extends AsyncTask<String, Void, Bitmap> {
    ImageView bmImage;
    public DownloadImageTask(ImageView bmImage) {
        this.bmImage = bmImage;
    }
    protected Bitmap doInBackground(String... urls) {
        String urlDisplay = urls[0];
        Bitmap mIcon11 = null;
        try {
            InputStream in = new java.net.URL(urlDisplay).openStream();
            mIcon11 = BitmapFactory.decodeStream(in);
        } catch (Exception e) {
            e.printStackTrace();
        }
        return mIcon11;
    }
    protected void onPostExecute(Bitmap result) {
        bmImage.setImageBitmap(result);
    }
}

    <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE" />

Please help.

are those 3 RecyclerViews are different or Same?Watercolor
@vrundpurohit They are 2 recyclers. The outer one is a vertical (RecyclerViewAdapter) recycler. The inner one, which I tried to edit is a horizontal recycler(SectionListAdapter). The code I posted is for the inner horizontal one. The code for the outer one is on the link I posted.Degrade
@vrundpurohit the 3 rows which are the output is supposed to be the same, as gven in the tutorial. What I am trying to do is to make them different.Degrade
@vrundpurohit please helpDegrade
can you please show me your full code?Watercolor
@vrundpurohit Hi I just added the rest of the code. Please helpDegrade
you can add different array for different position inside SectionListDataAdapter itemListDataAdapter = new SectionListDataAdapter(mContext, singleSectionItems);Watercolor
@vrundpurohit Thanks. Would you be able to post a working example of the code snippet you are referring to? I am so confused I don't know what to do. I'll gladly accept the answer and upvoteDegrade
I don't have any working Example of that rn.. but I'll dig out and post in here if i'll find one.Watercolor
@vrundpurohit Please do, thank you.Degrade
Did you ever get the answer to your question?I'm working on the same thing and facing the same issueStu
