I have been trying to find an up-to-date example of bhopping or surfing mechanics using GDScript and have only found things from about 3 years ago, which obviously don't work in recent versions. I'm kind of a novice when it comes to programming, so if anyone knows of a recent tutorial that I have somehow not found, or can direct me towards something else, that would be great.
Any good resources on how to make Quake/Source-like movement in Godot

Suetonius If it's from Godot 3 you could try converting it to Godot 4. The differences aren't that big. Just keep the migration guide in mind.
Heroics I've tried that a couple of times, but it usually results in my running into errors that I don't understand how to fix properly, or at all. Looking them up doesn't tend to help either.
