I am getting an error while executing the command ffmpeg -i /path/to/video.mp4 :

Consider increasing the value for the 'analyzeduration' and 'probesize' options

Adjust -probesize and/or -analyzeduration.

The files I was testing were in fact damaged. But if anyone faces this problem, setting -probesize and -analyzeduration to 100 and 10000000 for example might help.

From a popular comment by @DiverseAndRemote.com

my solution was

ffmpeg -analyzeduration 2147483647 -probesize 2147483647 -i /path/to/video.mp4

2147483647 is max_int

I have here some heavy cases where even -analyzeduration 999999999 -probesize 999999999 not work.Wortman
@Wortman do post the solution if you find it!Ferrin

@Jugendstil That seemed to do the trick for me. Since your comment is so popular I edited the answer and added it there, to help others landing here.Schou
