I create a new project on my removable disk. I open it and switch to target IOS. I build it. I get error from Mono:
BadImageFormatException: Format of the executable (.exe) or library (.dll) is invalid.
I repeat everything but now create the program on the system drive instead. Everything works fine.
How can I make Unity work with projects on my removable drive?
My system drive is too small for my projects.
We had this same issue with an external drive. After a lot of trial and error we noticed the drive was formatted as ExFAT. Formatting the drive as Mac OS Extended (Journaled) fixed it.
