Try linking AudioUnit.framework and AudioToolbox.framework to your project. Maybe it will solve your problem. I didn't have any problems with AudioUnitProcess.Homologize
I have linked both of these frameworks to my project. But I still get this error.Labbe
Seems the problem only comes in the older version of xcode. When I used a newer version I did not get this error. Do I have to load this code in mediaserverd daemon ? Will it work in my own daemon?Labbe
Yes, you have to load it in mediaserverd.Homologize
How do I load this in mediaserverd daemon ? Can you give me a link for such a thing?Labbe
OSSpinLock has a bug: openradar.appspot.com/23896366Shovel
I still got the errors Expected identifier or '( when declared extern "C" .... I use Xcode 8.2.1Abbey
Could you let me know which Xcode's version you used?Abbey
Did you solve this problem?Arwood

Well, it is in there. Check AudioUnit/AUComponent.h

Tip: If you're looking for a symbol in future, use Xcode's "Open Quickly" feature (shortcut: CMD+SHIFT+O). It does partial searching, so you can just type in "aunitproc" and you'll find AudioUnitProcess as the first result:

Open Quickly

Are you sure you've linked the frameworks? Newer versions of Xcode (5.0+) auto-link with system frameworks, so that would definitely explain why it works on newer versions of Xcode but not on older ones.Rickie
