firebase deploy error: 'eslint is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file'

Question

I wanted to use firebase hosting. so I followed the directions in the documentation to install firebase cli... I tried deploying and got this error

I've tried installing eslint both globally like this

   npm install -g install eslint

even locally like this

   npm install eslint -save-dev

and I got this error

I also tried this

   npm -g i eslint-cli

and got already exist error

Please, How can I resolved this issue? I am using windows 7

you have a small typo. rather than:

npm install eslint -save-dev

use

npm install eslint --save-dev

this could be the issue :)

Change directory into your functions folder if you are using firebase functions or use project folder, and use npm i to install dependencies. package.json will look something like this:

    "firebase-functions-test": "^0.2.0"
}

Now build using npm run build and deploy using firebase deploy.
