"Install failed: Installation Failed" while installing Visual Studio Community 2019

Question

I’m getting “Install failed: Installation Failed” error while trying to add and install Microsoft Visual Studio Community 2019 module to an exisitng Unity 2020.3.31f1 editor installation. I have tried retrying installation and deleting C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio\Installer and i’m still getting the same error.

How can I fix that?

i think you need to Update Windows

have the same issue in 2023 already posted It and found that I could be just that your pc needs to restart lol

got it I installed an older version of the editor (2020 LTS) and got the same error kind of went throught It and It got fixed then the next day I used add modules in install and now have no erros
