How to format lists in pandoc-generated docx documents?

I am using pandoc 2.7.2 to generate a docx from markdown. The target docx format relies on funny indentation depths. Thus, I am using a hand-crafted reference.docx, which works just fine for most paragraph styles.

One exception are lists created by pandoc. I am not able to determine the style pandoc is using for lists and thus, I do not know, how to update my reference.docx, so that lists are properly indented or if there possibly is another way to customise list formats for pandoc-generated documents. Any help appreciated, TIA.

maybe try asking on groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/pandoc-discussTaxidermy
Thanks, I'll do.Endanger
Just for the record, I promptly got the information I needed there, see groups.google.com/d/msg/pandoc-discuss/bvfGy_VVwEE/dbuD0f1ZAgAJ.Endanger
The google groups is gone (see github.com/jgm/pandoc/issues/9250). Ideally try to put content + link. Anyhow - can you please help how this was resolved? I'm also facing the same issueSchoolroom
At pandoc.org/MANUAL.html in '--reference-doc' section, it lists supported reference elements - Lists are not there! You won't be able to customize them atleast with pandoc! - Atleast this is what I concluded with many threads from here'n'thereSchoolroom
Regarding the missing google group, it is now mirrored. The specific thread to which @Endanger refers is here: inbox.vuxu.org/pandoc-discuss/… Unfortunately, the answer is that it's hardcoded and John recommended post-processing the document to customize this indentation.Defeasible
