much code, could you specify what exactly goes wrong? Error messages or crash logs? Have you tried images below and above 254kb? maybe you are missing some information in startConnection:?Korey
Hi relikd, sorry for the late reply. The app is not crashing just that it will sent and received at random. not too sure why thats why i asked. i did not try below 254kb, but it sure worked with the above 254kb imagesMillett
I've used Bump API before and its spotty over cellular connections and weak wifi signal . Try with both devices connected to wifi, and see if the problem persists.Flex
Hi Desmond, How did you solve this issue?Carolincarolina
Hi Desmond, can you send me the sample code or any link for this.League
i end up did not solved the problem as it way too slow to useMillett

I've found that transferring images, or any amount of data over that 256k limit, via Bump is very SLOW. You have to bust the payload up into chunks and then there's a delay between when each chunk is sent and received. If you have your own web server here is what I would do:

  1. Have the app upload the image to your web server via some sort of web service
  2. Have the web service return an ID or path to the uploaded file
  3. BUMP THAT INFORMATION OVER which is only a few k at best
  4. Have the receiver portion of the app fetch the image from your web server

You'd be amazed at how much faster your transfer will be!
