Imageloader class creates lazylist folder in gallery. How to avoid it

I am using imageLoader class to load images from url. But those all images are storing in the gallery by a folder name called LazyList. It takes upto 40 -100 mb of memory. But I dont want to load that images since the users may feel discomfort. Sorry for the bad English.

All works fine but it creates a folder in the gallery and shows all the images that are using by my app. So I feel users will feel discomfort by my app.

Here is my code of imageloader and also it links with few other classes even

public class ImageLoader {
MemoryCache memoryCache = new MemoryCache();
FileCache fileCache;
private Map<ImageView, String> imageViews = Collections
        .synchronizedMap(new WeakHashMap<ImageView, String>());
ExecutorService executorService;

public ImageLoader(Context context) {
    fileCache = new FileCache(context);
    executorService = Executors.newFixedThreadPool(5);
}

final int stub_id = R.drawable.abs__ab_bottom_transparent_light_holo;

public void DisplayImage(String url, ImageView imageView) {
    imageViews.put(imageView, url);
    Bitmap bitmap = memoryCache.get(url);
    if (bitmap != null)
        imageView.setImageBitmap(bitmap);
    else {
        queuePhoto(url, imageView);
        imageView.setImageResource(stub_id);
    }
}

private void queuePhoto(String url, ImageView imageView) {
    PhotoToLoad p = new PhotoToLoad(url, imageView);
    executorService.submit(new PhotosLoader(p));
}

private Bitmap getBitmap(String url) {
    File f = fileCache.getFile(url);
    // from SD cache
    Bitmap b = decodeFile(f);
    if (b != null)
        return b;
    // from web
    try {
        Bitmap bitmap = null;
        URL imageUrl = new URL(url);
        HttpURLConnection conn = (HttpURLConnection) imageUrl
                .openConnection();
        conn.setConnectTimeout(30000);
        conn.setReadTimeout(30000);
        conn.setInstanceFollowRedirects(true);
        InputStream is = conn.getInputStream();
        OutputStream os = new FileOutputStream(f);
        Utils.CopyStream(is, os);
        os.close();
        bitmap = decodeFile(f);
        return bitmap;
    } catch (Exception ex) {
        ex.printStackTrace();
        return null;

When storing the images in SD card, add .nomedia file to the folder. See, for example, stackoverflow.com/a/17800556Antepenult
@shoerat Yes it works ... but the problem is if I want to show particular image for the user that are saved I cant do it from now. Previously I links it directly instead of calling urlPandanus

I got my solution by changing my FileCache class and its destination folder

public class FileCache {
    private File cacheDir;
    private File nomediaFile;
    String NOMEDIA = " .nomedia";
public FileCache(Context context) {
    // Find the dir to save cached images
    if (android.os.Environment.getExternalStorageState().equals(
            android.os.Environment.MEDIA_MOUNTED)) {
        cacheDir = new File(Environment.getExternalStorageDirectory()
                + "/mydir");
        if (cacheDir.mkdir()) {
            nomediaFile = new File(
                    Environment.getExternalStorageDirectory() + "/mydir/"
                            + NOMEDIA);
            if (!nomediaFile.exists()) {
                try {
                    nomediaFile.createNewFile();
                } catch (IOException e) {
                    // TODO Auto-generated catch block
                    e.printStackTrace();
                }
            }
        }
    } else {
        cacheDir = context.getCacheDir();
    }
    if (!cacheDir.exists())
        cacheDir.mkdirs();
}

public File getFile(String url) {
    // I identify images by hashcode. Not a perfect solution, good for the
    // demo.
    // String filename=String.valueOf(url.hashCode());
    // Another possible solution (thanks to grantland)
    @SuppressWarnings("deprecation")
    String filename = URLEncoder.encode(url);
    File f = new File(cacheDir, filename);
    return f;

}

public void clear() {
    File[] files = cacheDir.listFiles();
    if (files == null)
        return;
    for (File f : files)
        f.delete();
}
}

You can use my droidQuery library to lazy load images from URLs, then cache them on a per-session basis. You can also handle your own cacheing, such as to SharedPreferences or an SQLite database. To download the images, use the long-hand method:

$.ajax(new AjaxOptions().url("http://www.example.com")
                        .type("GET")
                        .dataType("image")
                        .timeout(30000)
                        .cache(true)
                        .cacheTimeout(600000)//milliseconds
                        //consider using .imageWidth() or .imageHeight() methods to control output size
                        .success(new Function() {
                            @Override
                            public void invoke($ droidQuery, Object... params) {
                                myImageView.setImageBitmap((Bitmap) params[0]);
                                //save raw bitmap across sessions, maybe.
                            }
                        });

To save data to a database or SharedPreferences, read over the documentation: http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/data/data-storage.html

I was able to display and store the images but the problem is: they are showing in my gallery. Every image in my app can be seen in gallery and I don't want it to be donePandanus
