I am desperate to solve this problem, spent about a day on the decision.

What are the ideas?

Seems you are missing some jar.Denten
@Sudhanshu in my application, or tomcat?Yacov
Either you put the required library in the Tomcat's /lib folder or should be the part of your application war. Identify the jar for the missing classes and add it.Denten
Or you got a spring jars version mismatchRiver

org.springframework.web.context.request.async.CallableProcessingInterceptor according to the documentation is available starting Spring 3.2. The artifact is spring-web.

Define the following on your pom.xml:

<dependency>
    <groupId>org.springframework</groupId>
    <artifactId>spring-web</artifactId>
    <version>3.2.1.RELEASE</version>
</dependency>

Helped me solve multiple deploy errors. You can check Maven Dependencies for jars with wrong versions and add them manually in pom.xmlSharyl

Your artifact is missing the class CallableProcessingInterceptor. I guess it is in spring-web.
