How to use LZMA SDK in C++?

i have difficulties in using LZMA SDK in my application.

I would like to create a kind of single file compression tool. I dont need any directory support, just need only the LZMA2 stream. But i have no idea on how LZMA SDK is to be used for this.

Please can anyone give me a little example on how the LZMA SDK can be used under C++?

Just a copy/paste of the example source provided with the SDK. How does it work? What are the calls doing? What's an optimal way to perform a task with this code? Meh.Yarvis
This example doesnt write correct headers to 7zip file. I cannot extract file with another software. For example 7z file should begin with "7z" string.Cynical
This helps to show how to LZMA-compress a data stream, and yes, it's one of the few examples of the SDK that show at least something. And it is exactly what the OP requested - should be marked as an answer.Hydrocellulose
